What is an Integrated Management System?

An Integrated Management System (IMS) combines two or more management systems within one coordinated framework so that related requirements, processes and controls can be managed together. Examples include EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and QEHS / QHSE (Quality, Environment, Health and Safety) Management Systems.
