What is Business Continuity and why is it required?

This is the auditable ISO standard for BCMS.
  • ISO 22313:2012 – Societal Security – Business Continuity Management Systems – Guidance – This standardgives guidance on the planning, implementation and continual improvement of a BCMS.
  • ISO 22320:2011 – Societal Security – Emergency Management – Requirements for Incident Response – This standard specifies the requirements for incident response. This helps Oganizationsto improve their abilityto handling various emergencies (natural / man-made)
  • ISO/PAS 22399:2007 – Societal Security – Guideline for Incident Preparedness and Operational Continuity Management – This ISO/PAS gives guidance on the principles and practice for incident preparedness and operational continuity of an organisation. (PAS – Publicly Available Specification - A Publicly Available Specification is a standardization document whose structure and format looks similar to a formal standard but that has a different development model. The aim of a Publicly Available Specification is to accelerate standardization activity)
